Job Requirements: Academic and Professional Qualifications::
Section 26 (1) (a) of the Energy Act 2019 provides that a person to be appointed as Chairperson of the Energy and Petroleum Tribunal must be qualified to be appointed as a judge of the High Court.
The applicant must therefore hold the following qualifications;
- Be a member of the relevant professional association in good standing Qualification and experience in alternative dispute resolution will be an added advantage.
- Have a high moral character, integrity, and impartiality (meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution on Leadership and Integrity).
