Title: Bids & Tendering Officer – ERP solutions,
Location: Nairobi,
Gross Salary: 50k – 65k plus performance based incentives,
Our client is an ICT solutions company. They seek to hire a highly organized & detail oriented Bids and Tendering Officer. The role holder will be tasked with preparation of tender documents and following through the entire tendering process.
Responsibilities
- Timely preparation of tender documents, quotations and proposal presentations.
- Identifying opportunities on which to submit bids and feeding into the decision over whether to bid for the work.
- Timely and accurately preparation of tender documents, quotations and proposal presentations.
- Devising a successful strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points of the organization
- Researching, writing and/or checking proposals.
- Working with key members of the project team and the client organization to obtain the information required to compile the bid.
- Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid.
- Researching current and future market trends
- Responding to clients’ and other stakeholders’ queries before, during and after the bid has been submitted
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Management or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in an IT company.
- Must have dealt with ERP solutions.
- Experience in preparation of tender documents
- Detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative and innovative thinking
- Problem-solving skills
- Relationship-building and influencing skills
- Commercial thinking
- Team working skills
