Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Auditor based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Auditor will be responsible for planning and conducting audits, preparing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, and analyzing financial records to identify risks, control gaps, or discrepancies. The role also involves working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure accurate financial reporting and providing recommendations on best practices to improve financial controls and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in financial analysis and risk assessment
Proficiency in auditing standards, audit procedures, financial reporting, regulatory

compliance, and basic to intermediate tax matters

• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience using accounting software and audit tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–3 years of relevant auditing or accounting experience
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are strongly preferred
• Familiarity with industry-specific compliance and regulatory standards is an added advantage
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reconciliations, pivot tables, and financial schedules
