Cascade Company Limited is the Home for Urban and Continental dishes located in Thika and Nairobi town offering quality, delicious and affordable meals, catering services and training. The ideal candidate must be one that has strong proficiency in mathematics and statistics and has strong communication skills that help to develop courteous conversation with the customers
Key Responsibilities
- Identify optimal, cost-effective use of the resources and educate the team on the same.
- Preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts.
- Monitor budgetary and key performance indicator movements.
- Ensure to liaise with the company auditors and regulators.
- Responsible for all financial and accounting functions of the organization.
- Recommend to the management on the issues related to Stock Management and Inventory controlling.
- Providing effective financial controlling & also implement Control systems
Qualifications
- Must have a Degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA-K
- Should be highly skilled and experienced none degree holders with a CPA-K also qualify
- Should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Accountant in a busy hotel or restaurant
- Mean grade C+ in KCSE, C+ in Mathematics and English
- Female candidates encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in any hotel operating and accounting system and Microsoft office and email applications
- Must be candidate of unquestionable integrity
- Excellent analytical skills and hotel controls
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurized environment
- Knowledge of QuickBooks will be an added advantage
- Knowledge in Microsoft office applications and other accounting software
