Build Confidence In Any Situation: CSS Graduates Speak With Confidence Training

“Before I joined the training, I would get nervous in meetings. If I had something to contribute, I would keep it to myself.

Through the training, I was able to build on my confidence. Now, I am active in meetings. I answer questions, I contribute, and if I have something to add or a question, I raise my hand.” Lucy.

Lucy was speaking during the Speak With Confidence Graduation.

The graduation came after an intensive seven-week practical training. During this time, professionals and entrepreneurs from various backgrounds and sectors rallied together to learn how to communicate effectively and pass their message confidently.

During the graduation ceremony, a few of the graduates shared their experience on the training and how it had impacted their professional and personal lives.

Here are some of the comments.

Felista, an entrepreneur, had this to share;

“When I joined the class, I knew I had some confidence and courage when asked to speak in public. However, I used to envy people who could organize their thoughts and systematically deliver their message.

For me, anytime I tried to speak in public, my thoughts would be all jumbled up.

Through this training, I came to realize there is a structure and organization of your message to suit your audience and to help you deliver the message as you had intended.” Felista.

Catherine, who just landed her dream job also shared her sentiments;

“When I first joined the class, I didn’t even want to introduce myself. Aside from wanting to say behind the limelight, I also did not know who I was professionally.

I had taken a sabbatical a while back. I wanted to take some time out of work and plan my career.

During this class, I have not only been able to build on my confidence, but I have also created a clear career path for myself.

I recently went to an interview and I was surprised by my confidence level. I got the job, and I know it’s the right move for my career.

I’ve already started at the new job, and for the first time, I did not feel intimidated on the first day.
