Corporate Staffing Services, a leading recruitment and HR firm wishes to notify the general public of an individual by the name of Anne Mwaniki who is masquerading as the “Operations Manager” at Corporate Staffing Services.
This individual is soliciting money from job seekers by claiming that Corporate Staffing Services is hiring Bank Clerks on behalf of EQUITY BANK KENYA.
This follows numerous complaints we have received from job seekers claiming that they been asked by Corporate Staffing Services to pay an equivalent KES 4,500 as agency fee to secure an interview.
The email claiming to come from CORPORATE STAFFING SERVICES reads as below:
“Hello, I wish to confirm we have received the request to conduct your oral interview for the job of BANK CLERK from Equity Bank Kenya. Our role according to instructions received will include verifying your academic papers and any other certificates in your resume, you are therefore required to come with original copies of your certificates. We have also been instructed to stress the urgency of this appointment as you will be required to report straight for training once we verify your papers.
We charge USD.50 (Approximately 42,500 FRw) as agency fees which will be refunded by the Bank when you start working. Once the payment is verified we will schedule your interview immediately and notify Equity Bank who will send you funds for the Air Ticket. Given the urgency of this recruitment we will give you upto Friday to make the required payment failure to which this appointment shall be deemed forfeited and will be dropped.”
